Loco Move

Today the loco was moved from her home, for the last 10 years, at Arncott to a new site within the MOD Bicester complex. A distance of about 1/2 mile.

  Last time outside Arncott shed.

  MOD loco (appropriately named Vanguard!) prepares to leave.

  En-route run-round.

  New home.

Thanks to all the members of the Bicester Railway Group for their superb work in moving the loco today. Very professional.

Work can still not commence on the loco until our insurance claim against the MOD has been settled.
