Class 50 Status - as of 24th June 2008
This is a list of what is believed to be the current status of all remaining Class 50 locomotives from the original class of fifty.

"Restoration" figure shows how much work was/would be needed to put locomotive back into operational condition at the time of initial preservation; 1 meaning locomotive was purchased in operational or near operational condition. 50026/40 being the only locomotives actually rescued from scrapyards all other locos came direct from BR depots.
The "Future" figure is out of 10 and is my opinion of how good a future that locomotive has with 10 being a good long-term future.
The "Preservation" figure show how much that locomotive has worked since being preserved; 0 showing that the locomotive has yet to operate. ML = Mainline certified or mainline intentions, T=TPWS Fitted.
